More about Finn

Meet Finn! Born January 10, 2026, this sweet boy truly feels like a little teddy bear in a puppy’s body. Finn has been thriving in his foster home with his siblings and brings a gentle, loving energy wherever he goes. He enjoys playing with his littermates but is a bit more sensitive and thoughtful, taking a moment to warm up before showing his full personality. Once he does, his bright blue eyes will absolutely melt your heart. Finn is a true “super mutt” with a beautifully unique DNA mix! His lineage includes American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd Dog, Labrador Retriever, Chow Chow, Australian Cattle Dog, Poodle (Toy & Miniature), American Cocker Spaniel, Chihuahua, Golden Retriever, Pomeranian, Alaskan Malamute, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Mastiff, Boxer, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Boston Terrier, Keeshond, Maltese, and Lhasa Apso. With such a diverse mix, Finn’s adult size is truly a mystery! Momma Shiloh weighs just 25 pounds, so if Finn takes after some of the smaller breeds in his DNA like Poodle, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Maltese, or Lhasa Apso, he may stay on the smaller side. However, if he leans more toward his Shepherd, Husky, Retriever, or other working-breed relatives, he could grow into a medium or even larger-sized adult. Right now, Finn weighs 5 pounds, and we’ll continue watching him grow to see which direction he heads! Personality-wise, he may inherit intelligence and a love for activity from his Shepherd, Husky, and Cattle Dog relatives. His Retriever and Spaniel genes may shine through in friendliness and eagerness to please. The terrier and working-breed influence could give him confidence and devotion, while his Poodle and companion-breed lineage may add sweetness and strong bonding tendencies. Finn is beginning potty training and will need patience, structure, and positive reinforcement as he grows. With consistency and love, he has all the potential to become a wonderful, well-rounded family companion. Finn would thrive in a home with another dog or as your one and only. Because of his possible working-breed mix and intelligence, an active family and/or a yard where he can play and explore would be a great fit. Finn will be ready for his forever home on March 7th, and applications are being accepted now. If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E.
