Shortbread is a gentle, sensitive soul who is still learning that the world—and humans—can be safe and kind. She is very shy and nervous around people, especially with loud noises or sudden movements, but with time and patience she is slowly beginning to come out of her shell.Where Shortbread truly shines is with other dogs. They are her comfort and confidence, and having canine friends helps her feel secure. She’s starting to show her playful side and loves treats, toys, and spending time with her dog buddies.Shortbread would thrive in a calm, low-energy home with other dogs and very patient, compassionate humans who understand that trust takes time. A quiet environment without children would be best for her, allowing her to build confidence at her own pace.
