For more details, visit:  Foster to Forever Program RANGER Ranger is a striking, energetic young pup with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. He’s curious, affectionate, and thrives on attention; he wants to be where the action is and involved in everything you’re doing. Ranger loves to cuddle, but when he gets warm, he’s happiest lounging near a cool door or spending time outside. Ranger will do best with an experienced, active adopter who understands intelligent, high-energy breeds (think husky/German shepherd–type traits). He’ll need plenty of physical exercise, mental enrichment, and consistent training to help him channel his enthusiasm in positive ways. A secure yard and leash use will be important, as Ranger loves to explore and follow his nose. He has lived successfully with another dog and a cat, though cats are more interesting to him than cuddle-worthy and he’s been exposed to children, doing well with calm interactions. Because he needs time, structure, and focused attention, a home without young children would likely be the best fit. Ranger is sweet, affectionate, and full of potential for the right person who enjoys an active lifestyle and wants a loyal adventure buddy to grow with.
