NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 1/7/2026:  Jessie Jones - female - approx 7 years old - 12.10 pounds - Cairn Terrier mix Reason for intake:  Jessie Jones showed up on Jessie Jones in Benton a week ago.  She's been posted all over but no one has come forward and no one recognizes her.  She's older based upon her teeth and scared but very sweet.  If you are the owner or you know the owner, please contact us.... but to be clear, we're pretty sure she was dumped.  No chip, no collar and she's not talking.  She's heading to our vet the week of January 12, 2026, for everything she needs.  NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
