Meet Sammy! He is a sweet, young, playful pup with a curious and adventurous spirit. At just 1 year old and 27 pounds, he’s still filling out and needs to gain a few pounds to reach a healthy weight.He is crate trained and mostly house trained, as long as he is on a schedule. Sammy loves playing with other dogs and has a great time during play sessions. When it comes to mealtime, however, he prefers his own space. He’s an enthusiastic eater and does best with a slow feeder bowl, and treats should be given thoughtfully. With how skinny he was, we can't blame him. Sammy enjoys toys and playtime and is always eager to explore. He can be a little nervous in new places but warms up with patience and reassurance. He does okay on a leash and seems to enjoy car rides, doing well with a riding tether.With continued guidance and love, Sammy will make a fun, loyal companion for an active home ready to help him build confidence and continue learning.
