More about Johnny

Johnny and his 2 siblings (Jane and Juno) were found dumped in rural Texas right around Christmas time.  Poor little pups.  Luckily one of our rescue partners found them and took them in.  They have been to the vet and are receiving their puppy vaccinations and will be ready to come to the New Jersey area on our February transport.  They are estimated to be about 10 weeks old (as of 12/29/25) and appear to be some type of a husky mix.  Johnny is a bit shy, but once he gets to know you he will give you lots of kisses and stay by your side.  He enjoys playing with his siblings and is very intrigued by the chickens that live next door to his foster home.  He weighs 7.7 pounds as of 12/29/25.  According to his foster mom, he's the watchful one of the group.  He likes to monitor what's going on and then decide if he wants to join in.  He's pretty calm for a puppy but he does like to run around and play, especially with his brother Juno.
