On 01/21/26 he had a dental polishing. Weight: 14 lbs Height: 12 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $425 Fence needed? No, but he would love one.  What kind of home would be best for me? Peewee is a sweet and sassy little guy looking for a family to love him. Peewee enjoys the company of other dogs and plays wonderfully with both big and small companions. While he does not require another dog in the home, he would certainly enjoy having a playful friend around. Like many rescue dogs, Peewee will need some basic training and time to settle into his new home environment. Peewee has never lived as a pet, but we know he will settle in fast. He will also benefit from leash training as he continues to learn good manners and routines with his new family. Play time with other dogs is important in his life. Peewee is best suited for a quiet, stable household with predictable routines. We do think Peewee would do well in a variety of home, but with his age a more predictable environment may be best for him. In the right home - one that offers patience, structure, and companionship - Peewee has the potential to become a devoted, affectionate little dog who brings quiet joy and loyalty to his family. What is my personality like? Peewee is a middle-aged Toy Poodle with a soft spirit and a curious heart that is just beginning to open up to the world around him. Don’t let his age fool you — this boy can move! Peewee is quick on his feet and will happily keep you on your toes if you try to chase him around the yard. He has a bold, playful personality and absolutely loves spending time outside. Full of spunk, personality, and fun, Peewee is sure to bring plenty of smiles and laughter to the lucky home that welcomes him. Peewee is motivated by food, which will be a helpful tool as he learns basic training skills, house routines, and expectations.  How do I act when I first meet new people?  Gentle and thoughtful by nature, Peewee can be shy in unfamiliar situations and prefers to approach new experiences slowly, taking time to feel safe before fully engaging. He is not a dog who rushes - he learns best when allowed to move at his own pace. But once he settles in, he is on the go and know exactly what he wants and won't stop until he gets it. Determined and confident.  Other tips and tidbits: Peewee's birthday is 9/12/2016 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
