Cola is a 10‑month‑old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 30.7 pounds, the happiest puppy with a sweet, easygoing personality that makes her impossible not to love. Cola adores her people and prefers nothing more than being close to them. Even when she’s having fun playing with the other dogs, she’ll pause her puppy antics just to hop onto the couch for snuggles with her foster family. This sweet girl is making great progress with house-training and, when she does have an accident, it's on a potty pad. She’s not a fan of the crate and can get stressed, but she does wonderfully when gated in a room—especially with a canine companion nearby. Cola is dog-friendly and enjoys playing, although she can get a little overwhelmed if things become too chaotic. With gentle redirection from her person, she does just fine. She’s also been tested with a cat and did well! Although Cola hasn’t had extended time around children, she was gentle and appropriate when meeting young children at a parade. With respectful children, she’d likely be a great fit. Cola loves toys, enjoys a good bone to chew on, and absolutely adores cuddling—she’s convinced she’s a lapdog! Although she can be a bit shy in new situations or with new people, she warms up quickly and reveals her true personality: a total love bug. While not required, she'd be over the moon to find a home with her brother, Mr. Pibb. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who loves to cuddle and brings a soft, sweet presence to the home, Cola may be the perfect match. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
