Meet Frankie, an 8+ year-old brown tabby Domestic Short Hair with a calm, laid-back spirit and a heart full of love. This sweet, resilient senior lady has been through medical challenges in the past, but she’s doing wonderfully now and is ready to enjoy her golden years in a forever home. Frankie adores cuddling and being gently petted—she’s happiest when she’s snoozing beside her favorite person or soaking up affection. While she’s not much for toys these days, she makes up for it with her endless sweetness and tolerant nature. She gets along beautifully with small, cat-friendly dogs, is indifferent to other cats, and does especially well with cat-savvy children—she even has a soft spot for men! Frankie can’t resist human food and may watch you closely at mealtime, but with a gentle reminder she’ll politely sit and supervise instead. She would thrive in a quiet home where she can be the center of attention, surrounded by love, cozy naps, and plenty of cuddles. Her special needs are regular brushing and possibly bathing, wet cat food and lots of love - she's not able to groom herself well but will be happy to let you help her. * $150 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.
