Bonnie is an endearing, beautiful, very sweet and intelligent 1-year old dog who is up for adoption at Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) in Aldie, VA through no fault of her own.   https://foha.org/pet/bonnie2025/ Before getting to FOHA, Bonnie had spent most of her life homeless on the streets of Washington, D.C. with her former owner, whom she had been with since she was a puppy. Her owner surrendered her to give her a chance at a better life and now she's waiting to meet her forever family! Despite all this change, she is a very loyal, playful and smart young dog.  She already knows SIT, COME, and has been working on TOUCH and SETTLE. Bonnie would flourish in an active home with a family who will provide her with plenty of love, exercise, and mental stimulation.  She will really enjoy a fenced yard where she can run.   A confident dog companion would be a bonus.
