More about OSO

02/21/26 16:19 MHOso was in a foster home for about 30 days and did great! Here is what his foster family had to say about him:`Oso has now been with me at my home for a week. He has become much calmer and does not think he has to get excited over everything. He has had no accidents in the house nor does he chew on items. He has been eating well without any diarrhea. Oso is great on walks; no pulling nor barking at other dogs.Without issue, he goes into his crate which is at the foot of my bed and sleeps though the night quietly. At times, he goes into his crate just to relax. He is very mouthiness which appears to be a natural habit of his. So, we have been working on not making it a habit. He is demanding attention less and less as time goes on. He sits and waits before being released to eat his meals. He is definitely maturing.`If you'd like to meet Oso or are interested in fostering, please email [email protected]. 12/18/25What did we do on today’s adventure:Hi, I’m Oso! Today I went on a lovely adventure to Almaden Lake Park with my human friend. We enjoyed a nice, long walk around the lake, and I took my time sniffing all the wonderful smells—my favorite part. There were lots of people walking, biking, and jogging, and I calmly watched the world go by. I also saw some other dogs along the way. I stayed polite and relaxed, but you could tell I was curious and would have loved to say hello if I could. We took a break for a yummy pup cup, which was definitely a highlight of my day! After that, we stopped by a dog and cat store where I carefully chose some treats. My friend told me I was a VERY good boy, and that made my tail wag. It was a peaceful, happy day, and I’d love to do it all again soon. What should potential adopters know about me:Oso is truly a joy to be around. He is confident, happy, friendly, affectionate, funny, and smart. During our outing, he was super friendly and genuinely wanted to greet everyone we met. Not once did he bark or growl—even when another dog growled at him. He remained calm, gentle, and unfazed. Oso is very loving and enjoys being petted, sometimes giving sweet kisses in return. He has excellent leash manners, walking nicely on a loose leash with almost no pulling. He was completely non-reactiveto everything we encountered, which suggests he may have the potential to live with cats with a careful and proper introduction. At PetSmart, Oso was relaxed and well-mannered, calmly choosing his treats. I had such a wonderful day with him and can’t wait to take him out again soon!Three words to describe me:Delightful, Affectionate, Mellow02/22/26 21:06Foster note about Oso: Oso was a great 6-week house guest. No accidents; never chewed on the furniture nor items that were not his toys. On walks, when meeting other dogs, he is ready to play. He doesn't bark at other dogs, unless they are in his face barking. He finally figured out that he could enjoy `Tummy Rubs` if he did not lick me to death. He takes treats gently. But then wants more. He does have a furious appetite, but has learned to patiently wait for his food, until he is told `okay.` He is a great sleeper. Resting quietly in his crate at the end of my bed.
