More about Bonnie
Meet Bonnie Bonnie is a 1.5-year-old mixed breed dog with the sweetest soul and the gentlest heart. Her life hasn’t been easy, but that hasn't stopped her from loving. Bonnie was found last September after giving birth to a litter of puppies in a neighborhood. Once her babies were weaned, Bonnie had nowhere to go. She remained in the area, temporarily sleeping outside and surviving thanks to compassionate neighbors who made sure she had food and water. She lived this way for some time - quiet, vulnerable, and overlooked - until she was finally brought into foster care. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will soon undergo hip surgery due to an old injury, likely from being hit by a car in the past. Despite everything she’s been through, Bonnie is incredibly sweet and resilient. Bonnie is shy and timid at first, but once she feels safe, she opens up into the most loving little dog. She loves playing with other dogs, gets very excited about food, and is learning what it means to be a house dog. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and does great on her own for long periods of time. Bonnie is gentle, affectionate, and endlessly loving. She is the kind of dog who will form a deep bond with her person and cherish every bit of kindness she’s given. If you’re looking for a special dog who just needs a chance, Bonnie is waiting. Adopt Bonnie ASAP and give her the forever home she’s always deserved.
