This sweet girl has already overcome significant hurdles in her short life; found as a stray with a broken hip, she underwent FHO surgery and has since healed remarkably well. While she may always carry a slight, endearing limp as a reminder of her journey, it doesn’t stop her from being a gentle and loving companion. Star is a quiet soul who truly shines once she feels safe and secure. Though she is initially shy with new people and takes a little time to come out of her shell, her sweet nature is well worth the wait. Because she treasures a calm and predictable environment, Star is looking for a tranquil, low-activity home. She would do best in a household without dogs or young children, where she can blossom at her own pace without any loud or sudden surprises.
