UPDATE 25Jan2026: Barkley now has an adoption pending!19-month-old Barkley is an energetic boy who is very hesitant at first when meeting other dogs and people, and then is full-on happy! He's of smallish size and loves attention and to be close. Barkley is crate trained, and, in fact, supposedly spent much of his puppyhood in a crate, which might account for some of his shyness. He is loving his newfound freedom in his foster home. Barkley is not housebroken yet, so he will require a home willing to train him and that will allow him lots of freedom and gentle exposure to new things. Barkley seems to derive confidence from the presence of another dog, so a home with a confident doggie buddy is preferred, but not required.
