More about Luna Flurry Fur

_________ B I O ______________  Name: Luna Flurry Fur Size:  Medium  range: 26-60  lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included). Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other: Spayed Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip   Luna Flurry Fur would love to be your side kick!   Foster Home Feedback  2/21/26 Foster Feedback: Sweet Luna Flurry Fur has been with us for 10 weeks, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress she’s made! She’s truly a lap dog at heart — incredibly affectionate and always wanting to be close. Luna shows her love by rubbing against you like a cat, flopping onto you for cuddles, rolling onto her back for belly rubs, and soaking up every brushing session (which may just be her ultimate love language!). On Valentine’s Day she had her very first bath and was calm, patient, and so well-behaved. Luna is playful, curious, and full of personality. She loves outdoor walks, digging tunnels in the snow, and zooming around the yard. She has a big bark for a midsize gal! Luna would absolutely thrive with a playful dog friend and gets along wonderfully with her three furry foster siblings. She also does well with the teenage humans in the home.  Training-wise, Luna is impressively smart and very treat motivated. She already knows: • Sit    • Down    • Touch    • Paw    • Place    • Come   • And she’s currently working on increasing her Stay duration She learns quickly and genuinely enjoys training sessions. Luna is very comfortable in her crate and settles calmly and quietly.  Potty training is going fantastic! Since moving out of her decompression area, she’s made huge strides. With regular let-outs, accidents are rare. We’re continuing to build her confidence with car rides, meeting new people, and visiting calm, relaxed places. She does well on a leash and a long lead and comes when called. If she gets spooked, she may try to bolt, so continued confidence-building and secure handling will be important for her success. Luna may be a little cautious at first, but once she trusts you, her affection is incredibly special — she is absolutely worth the wait, and she will be a very hard one for us to let go.  She is blossoming more every day and is ready to find a family who will continue guiding her while enjoying all the love she has to give. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, smart companion who will adore you with her whole body, Luna might be your girl!    Foster Feedback 1/11/26: Luna Flurry Fur’s story is one of quiet courage and beautiful transformation. She came from living outdoors on an abandoned farm, where the world felt big and scary. At first, everything new made her nervous—but Luna is brave, and every day she proves it.  Now she’s learning how to be a beloved house dog and building her confidence one thoughtful step at a time. Luna does best in a quiet, patient home with people who understand that trust is something she builds on her timeline. And once she’s comfortable? Oh, that’s when the magic happens—endless love, affection, and playful joy.    Luna at Home Loves couches and snuggling close Shows affection by happily diving in and flopping over for belly rubs Very affectionate and wants to be near her person Bounces after toys, especially her favorite stuffed toys Enjoys fetch and playful moments Obsessed with her treat dispenser (thank you, Secret Santa!)  Luna likes to spend time in her kennel, which is her safe place Personality & Progress Curious and thoughtful—she likes to pause, think, then investigate Cautious and reserved with new people and situations but warms up slowly with treats and gentle patience Dog-friendly with slow, respectful introductions Very brave and constantly growing in confidence Training & Routine Working on potty training Uses potty pads and shows signs when she needs to go Learning what it means to live inside and doing wonderfully Walking outside on the leash    Watching Luna blossom from a terrified outdoor pup into a loving family companion has been incredibly rewarding. She’s discovering that life can be safe, cozy, and full of fun—and she’s just getting started.  If you have time, patience, understanding, and a comfy couch, Luna Flurry Fur would love to keep learning about the world with you and go on chill, happy adventures together.
