More about Akbar (bonded with Maximus)

Akbar is a gentle, tender-hearted boy whose sweetness blooms with time. When he first arrived, Akbar was quite reserved. It took him a while to fully trust his foster family, spending much of that time tucked away in a cozy nook in a walk-in wardrobe. But once he realized he was safe and loved, everything changed! Now, Akbar happily spends most of his time out in the open, especially on the bed, which has become his favorite place. Every night, he joins his humans and curls up near their legs to sleep. He purrs up a storm, makes lots of biscuits, and leans into pets and brushing (which he and Maximus both enjoy!). Though he has a soft and sensitive nature, Akbar is also playful. He loves chasing feather toys and engages a lot with his humans during playtime. He also enjoys chasing and playing with Maximus, and the two share a close bond. He would thrive in a quiet home with a patient adopter who understands that some cats just need a little time to blossom. For someone willing to let him move at his own pace, Akbar becomes an incredibly cuddly, devoted companion, the kind who will softly purr by your feet every night! Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home.
