More about Beamer and Twix

Beamer and Twix are settling in and showing us more of their sweet personalities every day. Beamer is adjusting beautifully—friendly, chatty, and always ready for snuggles. He’s already made friends with our resident cats and takes his foster role very seriously. Twix is still working on her confidence. She spends most of her time tucked into her safe spots, but Beamer’s presence helps her feel brave enough to accept gentle pets. She’s incredibly sweet and has never hissed or swatted. She’s not taking treats yet, so meds have been tricky, but we’re optimistic that trust (and time) will win her over. Both kitties have full run of the house, though they still prefer the comfort of their guest room. Beamer is out and about more; Twix is such a master of hide-and-seek that I’m fairly sure my resident cats don’t realize there are two newcomers. These two absolutely adore each other—they nap curled up together and rarely stray more than a couple feet apart. Ideal Home: A quieter environment would suit them best. They seem comfortable with dogs (though interactions have been limited), and we think respectful older kids would be just fine. Based on what we’re seeing, they should do well in a home with other cats or dogs.
