Meet Noella — a beautiful little Shih Tzu with a gentle spirit and so much love to give. After spending part of her life as a puppy mill momma, this sweet girl is ready for the chance to finally enjoy the life she deserves: a home filled with patience, kindness, and the freedom to simply be cherished. Noella loves her people and truly wants to please. She is crate trained, does well with potty habits when given regular reminders, and especially enjoys having access to doggie doors. She is an intelligent girl who learns quickly and continues to gain confidence as she settles into home life. One of her favorite parts of the day is mealtime, and she never misses an opportunity to show a little enthusiasm when food is involved. She is a quiet, easygoing companion who rarely barks, usually only joining in when the other dogs do. Noella would love a home with a canine companion, as she enjoys having another dog nearby and benefits from that comfort and encouragement. While she has not quite figured out toys yet, that may come with time as she continues learning all the simple joys of being a dog. Noella can be cautious with new people at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet nature shines through. She rides well in the car, has basic manners, and has an even temperament that makes her a lovely fit for many home environments. Because of her gentle nature, older considerate children would be the best match. Most of all, Noella deserves a family willing to give her the time and reassurance to continue blossoming — and in return, she is ready to reward that love with quiet companionship and a loyal heart. Noella's adoption donation is $500, and she is being fostered in North Central Ohio. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home — she has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines, including rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and Bordetella. Noella has tested negative for heartworm and has been started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and she has also had a dental cleaning.
