This handsome, independent fellow loves to do things his own way—and on his own time. He’s a self-entertaining bachelor who waits until you're out of the house to throw a midnight party complete with feather toy battles and triumphant pounces. His foster mom often wakes up to the sound of his “secret” play sessions… though stealth isn’t exactly his strong suit (he’s a little too chonk and chatty for that).Toby spent a little time learning that humans can be trusted. He used to prefer to observe (supervise?) from a distance, watching from a cozy hideout, but will now come to be right in front of you. Maybe he's now becoming a micro manager. Toby enjoys a calm environment where no one asks too much of him. He doesn’t need constant attention—just a safe, quiet home where he can be his independent, funny self. Toby can still be easily scared by loud noises and swift movements, and he would do best in a peaceful, patient home without small children or too much activity. He seems to like being in a home with other cats, and would need proper introductions. His perfect adopter is someone who appreciates cats for who they are—independent, quirky, and full of surprises.This strong boy has quite the superpower, too: when mealtime rolls around, all bets are off and you’ll be surprised how committed to getting fed Toby can be (but same though, am I right?).
