More about Harriette Tubman

Harriette Tubman came to us with dermoids (a congenital defect) in both eyes.  These damaged her eyes; one needed enucleation and the other needed correction.  Harriette has limited vision and likely only sees shadows, if at all. But she doesn't know that.  She knows she's no longer in excruciating pain.   Harriette navigates her environment quite well with the occasional mishap.  Her favorite things include being held (she even asks for uppies!), shoulder surfing, playing and scritches.  For more pictures of Harriette and our other Kittys, check out our Instagram @herekittykittyPHL
