Bear is dreaming of starting 2026 surrounded by a loving family, and he is so deserving of that chance.Bear’s story hasn’t been easy. He was abandoned and later surrendered after we discovered he did, in fact, have an owner. Despite everything he’s been through, Bear remains gentle, loving, and full of heart.Bear is estimated to be around 8–8½ years old and is a short, squatty guy with a basset hound–type build. He has a long body, very short legs, and an absolutely irresistible smile that will melt your heart the moment you meet him.He is currently thriving in a foster home, where he’s enjoying the comforts of home life and the love of compassionate humans. Bear loves to snuggle in his bed, play with toys, and soak up all the affection he can get.
