When the room is calm, he creeps out to eat, play delicately with spring toys, and curl up like a citrus-colored cloud.Current comfort levels:  Petting: Okay but not seeking it out yet.  Play: Secretly enthusiastic — tiny hopeful pounces at wand toys.  Other cats: Calm and non-reactive; a gentle feline friend would help him bloom faster. James needs a quiet, adult home (or older kids) with hiding spots, high perches, a predictable routine, and a patient person who celebrates small steps of trust.One day this shy gentleman will tiptoe to your side, settle in, and share the deepest rumbly purr.
