More about Hazel

Are you always GAME for an adventure?  Well then Hazel is your girl!Hazel is full of personality, always ready to go - a walk, hike, training, it does not matter as long as she's doing it with you!  Hazel is good in the car, enjoys just watching out the window. She also enjoys chewing a bone after some exercise and just being with her person.Hazel has a lot of energy, including some nervousness.  She is gaining more confidence as she is exposed to more with volunteers she trusts.  Hazel does need some work with her leash skills and some basics, but she is highly food motivated and enjoys training.  She is also highly motivated to please her person. House training and crate training are in the works for her as well!Due to her nervous evergy and high drive, a home without small children is recommended.  She can also be overwhelming for other dogs, so a dog that can "take a joke" and is well rounded/stable would be a good match.Hazel really thrives with direction, routine and guidance.  She struggles when left to make her own choices, but when she has a person who she looks to for direction, she is great.  She bonds strong with her people, and has so much love ot give her people.  She's a project, but one that in the end will be a unicorn of a dog with the righ people.
