Meet Earl Grey, the sweetest senior gentleman you’ll ever meet! He is a perfect balance of calm and playful. His absolute favorite thing in the world? Getting cozy. If there’s a soft blanket, warm couch spot, or a lap within reach, Earl will find it and curl right in. But don’t mistake his love of lounging for low energy—Earl still has plenty of pep for daily walks and enjoys trotting around the yard, sniffing every good smell and occasionally breaking into a joyful little prance. He’s the kind of dog who appreciates a relaxed lifestyle, but still likes to have fun. Earl currently lives happily with a young child and an older male dog, and he gets along wonderfully with both. He’s patient, gentle, and always up for a polite hello or a quiet companion to nap beside. He has also spent time with an energetic, younger dog and we got to see his playful side come out! We have noticed in his foster home that he does not enjoy sharing toys with his dog foster brother so he would be most successful in a home that can keep toys separate if there is another dog.
