Florence is a bright, playful, and increasingly confident 11-month-old girl who’s ready to find a home that appreciates her joyful spirit and active lifestyle. Smart, eager to learn, and highly food motivated, she loves training sessions, happily sits for treats, and thrives when given positive reinforcement and clear routines.   Florence especially loves an active lifestyle. She enjoys daily walks and runs, exploring the world at her own pace, and she absolutely comes alive during playtime with other robust, confident dogs. Wrestling, chasing, tugging toys, and romping around with canine friends are some of her favorite things, and she benefits greatly from having social dog companions around her and would love her forever family to schedule her regular doggy playdates. She’s also happy to entertain herself with toys and enjoys enrichment activities that engage both her body and mind.   Over the past several months in foster care, Florence has truly blossomed. While she can still be thoughtful in brand-new situations, she has become much more accepting of new people and experiences as her confidence continues to grow. With patience, consistency, and respectful introductions, she now settles in more quickly and shows off her affectionate, fun-loving personality. Though naturally observant and sensitive, she bonds deeply with her people and becomes an incredibly loyal, connected companion.   Florence would thrive in a quieter home in a less densely populated neighborhood without young children. She would do best in a calm environment with patient adults who will continue supporting her growth while enjoying her playful, athletic nature. Because she is a bit too interested in cats and other small animals, a home without them would be best.   Florence is an incredibly rewarding dog to be around — intelligent, affectionate, playful, and deeply devoted.
