More about Aquarius

Aquarius was one of two adult cats and 6-kittens found as strays in a cat colony near the Cahokia Mounds in STL.  Additonally, to add to the total number of kittens, Aquarius was pregnant. A sweet couple who lived in the area helped feed and care for these cats daily.  It was their mission to try and scope out the docile, friendly cats who were highly adoptable and then find placement at a no-kill rescue.  The couple was able to humanely trap 8 cats/kittens in total, which quickly turned into 12 cats once Aquarius gave birth at Country Acres Rescue. Aquarius is still learning the ropes at CAR.  She came to us with a ton of parasites and was infested with fleas and tapeworms. She was also a carrier of ringworm unbeknownst to us. She has since been vetted and cleared of all her ailments and feels so much BETTER. She is super resilient and learning to trust the staff and volunteers with each passing day. She is a gorgeous Calico with a sweet personality to boot.
