More about Casey AND Willow

Casey - Female DOB 7/1/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Dilute Calico Willow and Casey are two little buddies who have truly grown up side-by-side, so they’re looking for a home together. Willow is the gray-and-white girl with the sweet, gentle energy. She was born with a mild wobble (CH), which just gives her a bit of extra character when she walks or plays. It doesn’t bother her or slow her down — she just moves through the world in her own adorable way. She can be shy when she first arrives somewhere new, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate and will happily be part of whatever you’re doing.  She is very outgoing and loves to play and wrestle with some of the other male kittens at the rescue.  If Willow sees you laying down on the floor, she will quickly run over to you and insert herself beside you and by your shoulder.  She is definitely a sweetheart with constant purrs. Casey, the dilute calico, is a little on the reserved side but also likes to play and they are often seen cuddling with each other. She’s the brave explorer of the pair and the first to walk up and say hello. She also helps Willow come out of her shell, which is part of why they’re so good for each other. They play, nap, and follow each other around like siblings who actually like each other. Both girls love other cats and would fit in well with a calm feline crew. They’d be happiest in a home without dogs, and older respectful kids are totally fine. Willow really benefits from a quieter home where she can warm up at her own pace. She also gets a little overly enthusiastic in the litter box, so a 3 sided high box without a lid and easy entrance works best for her wobbly legs.   She would do best without a lot of stairs in the home that she would have to navigate up and down.  She likes to jump up in our short chair at the rescue that has a nice soft cushion where she is often seen napping in.  She can maneuver up and down a cat tree with easy access shelves or beds just fine.   Where she would not be able to jump up onto a bed, she would need a few cat steps that would allow easy access up and down where she will want to sleep with you. These two are just… easy to love. They’re fun, affectionate, silly in all the right ways, and so bonded that you can’t imagine one without the other. If you’ve been thinking about adopting a pair, they’re the kind of duo that makes your house feel a little more like home.
