Ember’s New Chapter Starts with You Ember is a sweet, ruby-red Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the softest eyes and the gentlest soul. A former puppy mill mama, she’s discovering just how wonderful life can be — and she’s embracing it one cuddle at a time. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you — Ember warms up quickly and soon becomes a devoted little shadow. She adores treats, lives for cuddles, and has a hilarious habit of falling asleep while gently licking your toes. Yes… toes. It’s her thing. Ember is moderately active and enjoys a nice balance of playtime and relaxation. She’s still learning the finer points of leash walking, but she’s doing quite well and improving every day. Around the house, she’s an absolute sweetheart — she’s good with adults, respectful older children, and calmly ignores cats. One of Ember’s cutest quirks? She loves stuffed animals and will carefully gather them up, arranging them into the perfect little pillow nest before settling in for a nap. Ember is potty trained, though she doesn’t always signal when she needs to go out, and she will thrive best in a home with a securely fenced yard and a friendly companion dog. She truly blossoms with another dog by her side and gains confidence from having a buddy. Ember has tested negative for heartworm and has been started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and she has also had a dental cleaning.
