Coal is a handsome little  black cat whose soft, glossy coat makes him look like a walking shadow with a warm glow. He may start off a bit shy, preferring to watch from a safe distance as he figures out his surroundings. But with a little patience and kindness, Coal’s true personality emerges — and it’s absolutely worth the wait. Once he warms up, Coal becomes a loving, loyal companion who adores company. He’ll seek out gentle pets, follow you around for attention, and gladly settle in for cozy cuddle time. His soft nature and affectionate spirit make him the perfect friend for someone who appreciates a tender, trust-building bond. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle kitty who blossoms into a devoted cuddle buddy, Coal is ready to fill your home (and heart) with love.  Coal was rescued from a struggling outdoor colony where many were very sick and wouldn’t have survived the cold weather. They were pulled just in time to get the care, warmth, and love they needed to heal and grow strong. All adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped. FeLV/FIV tested, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and has received preventatives.  Harlow's Haven Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization the focus on saving the lives of at risk and homeless cats in our community. We provide them with a safe environment in foster homes where they can live cage free and thrive until adoption day.
