Truly, she starts purring the moment you look at her—and from there, she’s all over you. Kitka is a total snuggle bug who never gets enough love and is happiest curled up close, soaking in all the affection she can get. Don’t let her sweetness fool you—this girl is fast! She’s lightning-quick with wand toys, a skilled little hunter, and even faster than her brother, with impressively sharp reflexes. Playtime is one of her favorite things, right up there with cuddling. Kitka has a great appetite, excellent litter box manners, and a gentle, loving nature that makes her an absolute joy to be around. Her sweet personality and constant purring are impossible to resist. About FeLV: Kitka is feline leukemia positive, which means she will need to live indoors and receive regular veterinary care to help keep her healthy. Many FeLV+ cats live happy, loving lives—especially with good nutrition, low-stress environments, and attentive care. She can safely live with other FeLV+ cats or as a cherished solo kitty, soaking up all the love for herself. Adopters should expect to partner closely with a veterinarian and be prepared for the possibility of additional medical needs over time, but in return, they’ll gain an incredibly affectionate and special companion.
