Thomas Jefferson is a big, soft orange-and-white gentleman who prefers to stay quietly in the background. He is the most reserved of his siblings, taking his time to trust new people. Thomas is gentle and never hisses or swats — he simply turns into an orange loaf in the corner with a polite “please give me space” blink.  Current comfort levels:  Petting: Not yet — he may retreat or freeze  Picking up: Tolerates only when necessary  Play: Loves tiny cautious pounces on wand toys when he thinks no one is watching  Other cats: Gets along wonderfully with his siblings and feels comforted by calm feline company Thomas is looking for a patient adopter who understands that the best cats often need weeks or months to warm up. He’ll thrive in a quiet, adult home with at least one friendly resident cat (or one of his siblings), a safe starting room, and someone who cheers for every small step forward.
