George Washington is a big, classic orange-and-white boy who sits regally at the front of his kennel, offering calm, slow-blinks to visitors like a true gentleman. Still a bit shy (no sudden moves, please), he’s the most outgoing of his group. He accepts gentle head scratches and even leans in slightly, with the start of a purr. Trust level: Petting: Yes — dignified head scritches welcomed Picking up: Not yet Play: Secretly loves wand toys and does polite pounces Other cats: Excellent with his siblings; they groom and snuggle. He’d thrive with at least one calm cat friend. He’s looking for a quiet, adult home where he can continue building trust at his own pace. A patient family that celebrates small victories (and bonus points for adopting with one of his siblings) will turn this soft orange gentleman into a loyal, purring lap cat.
