Meet Myles, a beautiful one-and-a-half-year-old male collie with a sweet, goofy side that really shines once he gets to know you. He can be a bit skittish at first and is fearful of new things and loud noises, but he’s easily distracted with treats and gentle pets. Myles loves being around his people, yet he’s also perfectly content spending time on his own with a favorite chew toy. He likes to sleep in his crate at night and will often choose it as his go-to spot for a daytime nap. While he prefers romping around in a yard over going for walks, he has good leash and car manners when needed. His routine is flexible and he isn’t opposed to sleeping in now and then. He plays well with other dogs and is only a little whiny around cats. Myles may get a bit vocal if he’s startled or feels he’s missing out on attention, but he’s still young and has already made great progress in building confidence with his foster. With a little time and reassurance, Myles has blossomed into a loving, fun companion who’s ready to find his perfect home. I hope you will consider adopting me.
