More about Bob(cat)

Bob—short for Bobcat—showed up one spring looking like a little wildcat: scruffy, skinny, and unsure of people. With patience and kindness, his rescuers earned his trust, and he’s been blossoming ever since. It took only two days for him to master the litter box, and now he even comes when called! He’s gentle, observant, and curious about the world around him. Bob hasn’t lived closely with other pets but shows calm interest when he sees cats and dogs nearby. Once shy and cautious, he’s learning how good life feels indoors—with soft beds, tasty treats, and caring hands. This sweet, soulful boy is ready for his next chapter: a loving home where he can keep growing in confidence and finally enjoy the safe, happy life he deserves. Bob has a special need since they acquired FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus).  This virus weakens the immune system, making affected cats more vulnerable to infections. With careful monitoring, regular vet care, and a good diet, affected cats can live a normal, happy, healthy life. It is common for FeLV infected cats to have a normal life expectancy.  This virus is contagious through biting or close contact with other cats like bowl sharing or grooming, Bob cannot live with FeLV negative cats. Bob must be an only cat or with a cat that is already infected.  FeLV is only contagious to cats. Fill out a FOSTER OR ADOPTION Application on the bottom by clicking on one of the grey buttons!
