More about Auggie
Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog. Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites. Auggie came to us from a shelter as a nearly 6 month old who was emaciated, barely able to stand and walk weighing 27 pounds. He had several sets of labs done and nothing indicated a medical reason for his poor condition so it was pure starvation. He's made a complete recovery and weighs a healthy 64 pounds now! He is a young teenager and now that he's healthy, he's active and still doesn't realize his size. So we are saying no kids, small dogs or cats. He's not mean but pounces on them and could hurt them but always scares them when he does it. He walks on leash but has recently started to pull some. He's great with crate training. He will bark when it's time to eat or he needs to potty. Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.
