More about SANGIE
03/03/26 13:17 Needs rescue due to long length of stay, noted to have grade 2/6 heart murmur with no clinical signs, a mammary nodule that should be monitored and may need removal, and allergic dermatitis. Needs rescue or adopter. 01/29/26 09:36Meet Sangie â a sweet, soulful 3-year-old girl whoâs been patiently waiting for her forever home since August 2025.Sangie is the kind of dog who always wants to share her joy. She adores toys and is happiest when sheâs proudly carrying one around, showing it off to anyone who will look. She always wants to leave her kennel with her toy and is always ready for a game of fetch. If you see her trotting by with a toy in her mouth, tail wagging, thatâs just Sangie being her charming self. On walks, sheâs all about the world through her nose â sniffing walks are her absolute favorite, and she takes her time soaking everything in.Sheâs wonderfully friendly with people and lights up when meeting someone new. New faces are her favorite, and sheâs always excited to say hello and make a new friend. That said, shelter life has been hard on her. Like many sensitive dogs, Sangie has developed some reactivity to other dogs while living in this stressful environment. With patience, consistency, and love, she has so much potential to blossom once sheâs out of the shelter and into a calmer home.Sangie is looking for a kind, understanding adopter whoâs willing to work with her and help her settle into the next chapter of her life and relax. In return, youâll get a loyal companion who loves deeply, carries her toys like treasures, and is ready to explore the world one sniff at a time by your side.If youâre looking for a dog with heart, personality, and a whole lot of love to give, Sangie just might be your girl.10/30/25 11:31Looking for a loyal best friend who will greet every day (and you!) with pure happiness? Meet Sangie, a beautiful white pit bull with a heart as big as her smile!Sangie is a fun-loving girl who adores her toys â seriously, sheâll carry one around just to show off how proud she is! Whether itâs a squeaky toy, a rope, or her favorite plushie, sheâs happiest with something in her mouth to keep her entertained. When she gets excited (which is often), she lets out the sweetest little whines â her way of saying, âIâm just so happy to see you!âThis wiggly bundle of love is always thrilled to meet new people and quickly wins hearts with her goofy grin and wagging tail. Sangie prefers the company of humans over dogs and doesnt like being around other dogs as much, so sheâd love to be your one and only furry companion â the star of your home and the queen of your couch. If youâre looking for a joyful, affectionate, toy-loving best friend who will fill your days with laughter and love, Sangie is ready to steal your heart forever. On physical exam at time of intake, this animal was noted to have a Grade II/VI heart murmur. When her heart was ausculted at time of spay, the murmur was not appreciated. At this time, the animal is bright, alert, responsive, and not showing clinical signs of heart disease (no cough, collapse, or exercise intolerance observed). A heart murmur indicates turbulent blood flow within the heart. The cause of this murmur is unknown without further diagnostics (such as echocardiogram or chest radiographs). Some murmurs can remain stable and not cause illness, while others may progress over time and result in heart enlargement, arrhythmias, or congestive heart failure.03/01/26What did we do on todayâs adventure:Well, today made me a happy lady! I got to go on a hike with a new human to Los Alamitos Creek trail. The sun was shining! People and doggie friends were out enjoying the beautiful weather. What a day! I was SOOOO excited to meet a new human. I couldnât contain myself. I had the squiggles. I had the wiggles. I had the SMILES! (I have the best smile you know.) We walked for well over an hour. I got to smell all kinds of new smells onthe side of the trail. I got to pass so many human friends. I wanted to meet so many new dog friends. On the way home, I was so tired. This lady isnât used to walking so much. But, it was so fun! I canât wait to go again. What should potential adopters know about me:- Oh My Gosh. I donât think I have ever met a dog that had a bigger smile! Happiness and friendliness just radiated from Sangie. I would describe her as a love tank. She is solid friendliness and happiness!- Sangie was quite excited when I met her and it took me a minute to get her harnessed up because she was so squiggly. She was very friendly and tail wagging at 110%.- She tried to jump into the car right away...but needed a little help up. She was very well behaved in the car on the way to the park.- Sangie was a very well-behaved little hiker on our walk. She walked in a straight line 95% of the time....unless she smelled some ânewsâ she just had to read. We passed people and she paid zeroattention....just kept going her merry little way. When she passed dogs, she did pull a little, but it seemed to be more out of friendliness/excited to meet them than anything else.- She had good energy level. We went for almost 1.5 hours and shewas a strong walker the whole way.-- Overall, Sangie was an absolute joy. Very sweet and affectionatedog with a CONTAGIOUS smile.Three words to describe me:Happy, friendly, energetic
