More about Louise

Louise originally came into the shelter almost two years ago with her sister (Thelma) and 3 puppies. The puppies were adopted long ago, and Thelma has found a home of her own as well, but Louise still waits. She's a big girl, weighing 66 lbs. She knows basic commands and is happy to learn more. Louise is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs. She has spent most of her life in shelter, so she will need time to adjust to being in a home. Giving her small spaces, leash walking regularly, and letting her adjust to one new thing at a time will help her be successful. Louise is a regular day camper at Camp Merricks and does very well there. She would probably enjoy having a dog friend in her new home. She is playful, but not overly energetic and would probably enjoy being a homebody. Stop in and meet her today!
