More about Mama Maggie

Mama Maggie is a purebred Australian Shepherd that came in to Stray Haven pregnant. We believe that she was a breeder dog that abandoned her when they realized that she was sick. When she came in to Stray Haven she had significant respiratory issues. Stray Haven has spent thousands of dollars in diagnostic testing at our regular vet and at medvet. She finally seems to be on a combination of medicines that are helping her. We do recommend that she go to a home with no other dogs. Or only male dogs that aren't alpha in nature. Depending on when she goes to her new home she may go home with medicine. All of her puppies were DNA tested as purebred Australian Shepherds and they have all been adopted. In addition Maggie has great house manners and his potty trained. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application.
