More about Duke
Duke is a 1-year-old neutered Akbash. He is playful, loving, and very gentle with young children—he’ll even let a toddler eat from his bowl. He loves to cuddle and be close to his people, though he can be a bit nervous indoors. Duke is good with livestock and shows no aggression toward them but he cannot be trusted around chickens. He gets along with most dogs but may react if another dog is aggressive. Duke is still working on leash manners and house training. Maggie and Duke are a bonded pair and need to stay together. They play, cuddle, and truly rely on each other. Both are incredibly sweet, affectionate dogs who absolutely adore children. Duke is an expert escape artist and needs secure fencing! He and Maggie currently live on a busy road and their safety is a concern. Duke is being fostered with Maggie in Northern Utah.
