More about Romeow

Foster Update for Romeow Romeow is such a sweetheart! He loves coming up for pets and affection whenever we’re in the room. We’ve started leaving his door open with a gate between him and the dogs. If they get a little too bouncy, he’ll give a warning hiss, but he never tries to go after them. When the dogs are calm and just sitting at the gate, he’ll quietly sit and observe them—or sometimes choose to hang out under the bed. Our resident cat, Boots (1½ years old), is usually the first to meet new friends and is great at reading the room. He’s had a couple short visits in with Romeow, and Romeow handled it well—no hissing or signs of aggression, just some cautious hiding. They’ve even shared space under the bed with no issues! We’re keeping interactions brief for now, but everything’s been calm and positive so far.
