I am 8mo old, Whippet/Rat Terrier mix and I have a list of things that I am looking for. I would like a family that is fairly active as I love to run and play (occasional zoomies). I will guard the yard from squirrels and bunnies. No mouse is safe when I am on the prowl!  One of my favorite things to do is play with the other dogs in my foster home. My foster mom takes me everywhere! I love checking out Home Depot and going to the pet store. I am also a food critic, and I will watch your culinary techniques very closely. Well, until I am told to go lay down. I am happy to curl up next to you after a fun play session, although I do prefer my dog bed where I can chew my bones or sit on the back of the couch and watch the world go by. I will let you know if someone comes to the door so I can greet them exuberantly. My foster mom says I shouldn't be in an apartment or condo as I need to stretch my legs. She says I can run like a deer, even though I have never seen one. Her yard is fenced in which is great as I love to lay outside and enjoy some sunshine. I will begrudgingly go in my crate when I need to. My foster dad is home most of the day so fortunately it's not something I need to do very often.
