Hi there… I’m Flint. Sometimes, when the house is quiet and the stars peek through the window, I like to sit by the glass and make a wish. I’m not quite sure how wishing works, but I figure if I wish hard enough, maybe my forever family will hear me. You see, not long ago, I was all alone at the shelter — a tiny tabby boy with big eyes and an even bigger heart. It was scary there, all those strange sounds and unfamiliar faces. But then something wonderful happened: they put me in a kennel with two other kittens, Jasper and Amber. Suddenly, I wasn’t alone anymore. We huddled close, shared our purrs, and dreamed together of warm homes and gentle hands. Now I’m in a foster home, and every day feels a little brighter. I’m still a bit shy, but I’m learning that love is safe and laps are soft. My foster says I’m a “cutie patootie,” which I think must mean my whiskers and purrs are working their magic. I’m only about five to six months old, full of sweetness and quiet hope. I’d love a forever family who will give me patience, cuddles, and maybe even a kitty friend to chase sunbeams with. So tonight, when I look up at that same little star, I’ll keep wishing — wishing that somewhere out there, someone is wishing for me too.
