More about Anastasia (aka Rapunzel)

Like all fairytales, Anastasia (Ana) had a hard start to life. Roaming the streets of Indiana with her three small kittens, she had to try and survive, even though she was kitten sized herself! And just like magic, from one day to the next, her and her kittens were in a house filled with large noisy creatures who were always trying to touch her and her babies. As the awesome mom she is, Anastsia defended her babies like any fairy tale hero and succeeded in keeping them safe and loved.Now that her babies are healthy and adopted into amazing homes, it is time for Anastasia to get all the attention. She adores people and after a sniff will lean up for scritches behind the ears and chirps for attention from across the room. She also loves curling up next to her person on the couch and just dozing the day away, her little snore's a gentle reminder of her presence. Anastasia is still unsure about being picked up and snuggled but is friendly with her fellow foster cats, rubbing against them, until she decides to be a bit mischievous and start a tussle.Anastasia doesn't play with toys, prefering to snooze and get all the pets insead! And don't be fooled by her small size, Anastasia is as strong and valiant as any knight in shining armor, ready to take on any challenge and come out the other side victorious. She especially loves climbing the cat trees and shelves and all the scratching posts she can get her claws on! And while she is still figuring the indoor world out, Ana already loves anything that is soft and snuggly. Anastasia would be happy in a home as the the one and only princess or with a gentle cat who won't mind her lack of interest in play-time. Older or respectful children preferred. Being off the streets, she is unfazed by a little chaos, as long as she has some food and a bed to reign from. While she is FIV+, it has not dampened Ana's hearty spirit. If she recieves annual vet checks, and her super yummy thymine treat, Anastasia plans to rule her new kingdom for a long time to come. Anastasia has one rule when it comes to meal time, all the food is hers and she appreciates not being touched while eating.
