He is a very loving big puppy with a medium-high activity level, and an endearing personality that will steal your heart. Clarence is learning to walk on leash and already knows "sit," showing he's eager to please and ready to learn. This playful boy has the most adorable quirks—he sleeps upside down, lays down to eat his meals, and absolutely loves hugs! Clarence gets along great with all dogs regardless of size or gender, making him a perfect companion for homes with existing canine friends. Clarence loves meeting new people and has shown himself to be a confident pup with no known fears or dislikes. He enjoys walking the perimeter of the yard and taking in all the smells, so he’d love a 5-foot fenced yard for exploring and playtime with his canine buddies. This sweet boy enjoys the best of both worlds—sleeping inside and hanging out in the great outdoors. He loves being brushed, playing with toys, and romping with other dogs. Clarence can get a little carsick on rides but is otherwise a happy, well-adjusted pup with no behavioral issues. His favorite snack? - Anything edible! Fees: Adoption fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on age, location and transport. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Fees for dogs adopted locally start at $400 and can range up to $700 for puppies under six months. Puppies placed on spay/neuter contracts receive $100 back when the dog is spayed or neutered. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
