More about Possum

Meet Possum. This kind, gentle and sweet girl has been looking for a home for a while. Possum is initially cautious, but once she knows and trusts her human, she will jump up where you're sitting and stare at you lovingly. She accepts gentle petting and will claim you as HER person. She is vocal during feeding time and loves chowing down on a good meal. One of her favorite places to be is on her cat perch in a sunny spot watching the cars drive by out the window. What Possum doesn't know is that she has FeLV—she only knows gentle petting, treats and her human. Due to Possum's FeLV status, this means her immune system is a little weaker than other cats. While FeLV is not curable, many cats like Possum can enjoy happy, love-filled lives for years with good care. Possum would need an indoor only home and be the only cat in the home OR live with another FeLV+ friend.
