More about Florentine: Not at shelter (Pat)

Florentine (“Flo”) is an absolutely delightful 1 year old cat.  Her youthful energy, curiosity and self-entertainment bring joy: playing with toys, bird watching, exploring, and viewing programs on both tv and computer screens. Flo is affectionate, frequently purring while approaching people for petting. She‘s fine with being picked up and briefly held, but doesn’t enjoy cuddling at this point. When not purring, Flo is amazingly quiet: not a sound when she was put in a carrier, when riding in a car or when confined to a room while hearing people just beyond the door! ***** "Mom of the Year" award goes to none other than Florentine, who is mom to five very cute babies and is still not tired of caring for them! They are the prettiest little autumn babies ever! Mom is still tender and loving to them, allowing them to be naughty and play rough with her, but she is patiently teaching them to be independent.
