Aruba is a gentle, sensitive boy who thrives in a calm, familiar environment. He is hesitant at first around new people, but once he feels safe, his sweet and curious nature really shines. Aruba bonds closely with his people and feline friends, and when you’re “his person,” he’ll happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Aruba loves interactive play and truly comes alive with wand toys. He loves playing with another cat or engaging in daily playtime with his human. He’s not one to play solo, but he’ll happily join in when invited. When it’s time to relax, Aruba can often be found gazing out the window, napping on his cat tree, or cozying up in a tunnel or under the bed. Affection is always on Aruba’s terms. He’ll let you know when he wants pets by sitting close and rubbing against your arm, but he also appreciates having his boundaries respected when he’s had enough. He’s very observant and curious, loves watching “cat TV” at night, and enjoys a predictable routine. Aruba would do best in a quiet, patient home with someone who is around often and understands that trust takes time. A home with another friendly cat would be a big plus, as he enjoys feline companionship. With patience and consistency, Aruba will reward his adopter with loyalty, gentle affection, and a deeply meaningful bond.
