She’s potty trained! Story: Cambria was rescued from a shelter in Alabama. We are so happy to have her safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Cambria is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Cambria is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Cambria will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Cambria (Cami) is a sweet and shyer girl.  She is learning to be more comfortable with people she doesn't know, but bonds very quickly to her family and loves attention, pets, and hugs! Cami loves other dogs and can play all day with her doggy friends. She really likes her chew toys and a good bone, and prefers to find a stuffy or a hard bone to entertain herself.   She is fine in her crate for sleeping at night, but she doesn't enjoy it during the daytime if she's separated from her doggy friend(s). She has learned to use a doggie door like a pro though!  She has mastered potty training but doesn’t like to do her business on a leash if she can help it. Cami loves to snuggle with her doggie friends on the sofa, and enjoys a good run outside and laying in the sun.  Cami is great on a leash, but can be a bit nervous sometimes on walks where she doesn't know where she is. Cami is looking for a family that has a doggie sibling friend who can show her the ropes, and has the time to make her feel at home and part of the family. She is such a sweet girl and will soon repay you with lots of play time and cuddles! The fee to adopt Cambria is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
