Meet Lovey Lovey is a beautiful 5-year-old female Doberman with a story that proves she’s meant to be here. Sadly, she found herself at the pound not once, but twice in the last few months. After being adopted, she was returned simply because her family had too many animals. With no home to go back to, the shelter had scheduled her for euthanasia. But fate had other plans. One of our incredible volunteers saw her story, got in the car, and drove 5 hours one way to rescue her—saving her life and giving her the second chance she so deserves. Lovey has recently been diagnosed with silent DCM, but that won’t stop her from living her best life for as long as the good maker allows. We’ve promised her love, safety, and joy every step of the way—and we’ll make sure she finds a family who will do the same. Because really, who could ever say no to a sweet Doberman named Lovey?
