More about Lucy
Rescued last summer, Lucy thought her hard days were behind her. But nearly a year later, she's still waiting for a family to call her own. While other cats have found homes, Lucy continues to be overlooked. Not because she's done anything wrong, but because she needs to be the only cat in the home. Lucy is an easy, laid back and extremely sweet girl. She loves finding a sunny spot to stretch out in, watching the world go by from the window, and quietly exploring her surroundings. She isn't asking for much. Just a peaceful home, a warm patch of sunlight, and someone to love. Right now, Lucy spends much of her time separated from the other cats in her foster home. It breaks our hearts knowing she still doesn't have a space where she can fully relax and simply exist. After everything she's been through, she deserves more than waiting. Somewhere out there is a person whose home feels a little too quiet, whose sunny windowsill is empty, and whose heart has room for a cat like Lucy. We hope they find her soon. Lucy has been spayed, vaccinated, and negative for FELV/FIV If you would like to learn more or to apply to adopt, please email us at [email protected] or call Joan at (718) 671-1695.
